Our Rules

• 

  Check in after 2:00 pm and check out before 10:00 am.

• 

  Any balance due is payable immediately upon arrival.

• 

  Please do not sleep directly on the mattress covers provided. Sheets, or a sleeping bag, are required. If you need sheets, they are available for rent at the office.

• 

  Your pets are welcome to stay on the screen porch. When they are outside, they must be leashed and cleaned up after immediately. Please, no dogs with excessive or loud barking. Your dog must have all shots up to date and proof is required at time of check-in. Please be respectful and follow these rules so the privilege of having your pet is not taken away from you, and everyone else.

• 

  At no time should fish be cleaned in the cabins, or on the porches. A fish cleaning house has been provided for your convenience. Please help keep it clean by cleaning up after yourself and turning off the light. Thanks!

• 

  Quiet hours are from 11pm-8am.

• 

  Children must be accompanied by an adult while on our property.

• 

  Campfires should only take place in the provided fire rings. Please do not move the fire rings as they kill the grass. Always extinguish your campfire before leaving it. Do not leave a fire unattended!

• 

  Please follow all New York Department of Environmental Conservation fishing regulations.

• 

  Pool hours are 11am to 8 pm. Two or more adults, 18 years of age or older, must be present at the pool when being used, with at least one adult on the pool deck. No running or horseplay around the pool or on the docks. No one under the influence of alcohol or drugs should use the pool. Persons with diarrhea illness or nausea should not use the pool. Persons with skin, eye, ear, or respiratory infections should not use the pool. Persons with open wounds should not use the pool. No animals or pets are allowed in the pool. No glass is allowed in the pool or on the deck. Children are not allowed to use the pool unless accompanied by a responsible adult. No diving in our pool as it is only 4’ deep.

  You are responsible for taking your trash to the dumpster located behind the barn.

• 

  Do not place any large personal items in the dumpster. i.e. grills, chairs,

• 

  Please place recyclable cans and bottles in the provided recycling containers placed around the property.

• 

  Pleasant View Cottages is not liable for any injuries that may occur on our property. Pleasant View Cottages is not liable for any acts of theft or vandalism, or for any damage caused by natural elements. You are responsible for carrying insurance coverage for your RV, vehicles, and their contents.

• 

  Volleyball nets, pool, docks, facilities, etc. are for you to enjoy at your own risk.

• 

  Firepits with garbage left in them will incur a $25.00 cleaning fee.

• 

  When we get a cancellation, we make every effort to fill your vacancy. This includes listing with our local chamber of commerce, contacting anyone on our waiting list and putting up the vacancy sign or any other appropriate means. We realize that cancellations are sometimes unavoidable. We hope that you realize that this is how we earn our living, and we have a short season in which to do so. Deposits are refundable if we receive notice from you greater than 30 days prior to your arrival and we fill the vacancy your cancellation created. If less than a 30-day notice is received we will expect full payment if your camp has not been rented. Your deposit is your acceptance of these terms. All returned deposits are subject to a $50 handling fee.
